November 2nd, 2022 – Today, Kids Eat Smart will receive a $2,500 donation from members of Trades NL in support of their 2022 Radiothon fundraiser, hosted by VOCM.
“Every child deserves a head start when it comes to nutrition,” says Trades NL’s Executive Director, Darin King. “Food is the foundation of learning for so many school aged children and our members are very supportive of the work Kids Eat Smart are doing – ensuring every child has access to a healthy breakfast at the start of their day. We are proud to provide this donation, as we know it will help children across the province learn, grow and be their very best.”
For 29 years, Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador has supported the education, health and well-being of school age children by providing access to food at school, at no cost to families.
