Trades NL Members donate $5,000 to Ronald McDonald House to Support Families & Sick Children

For Immediate Release

December 20th, 2022 Trades NL members have generously given $5,000 in support of the Ronald McDonald House NL to assist in providing comfortable accommodations and amenities for sick/injured children and their families as they receive the medical care and resources they need, when they need it the most.

“The last thing families should be worrying about when going through a traumatic medical event with a child is a safe place to put their head at night,” says Trades NL’s Executive Director, Darin King. “Ronald McDonald House NL is near and dear to so many of our members hearts, and we are so pleased to support families, sometimes long term, who need their services. The holidays should be a time when families are able to come together as much as possible and our members hope this donation adds a much-needed boost in easing the financial burden for families staying at the RMHNL.”

Trades NL has participated in the ”Adopt a Room Program”, adopting the “Trades NL Library & Resource Center” within the Ronald McDonald House NL. Through this initiative, Trades NL has been able to ensure costs associated with the maintenance and upkeep of the room are covered so that families can enjoy the space as much as possible during their stay.
