The Lower Churchill River Project is one of the most attractive hydroelectric resources in North America. The project’s two sites, Muskrat Falls and Gull Island, have a combined capacity of over 3,000 megawatts.
Phase One, the Muskrat Falls Project, includes construction of a 824 megawatt hydroelectric generating facility, over 1,600 km of transmission lines across the province, and the Maritime Link between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.
