Mission Statement

Supporting Newfoundland and Labrador’s Building and Construction industry with safe, highly trained, and diverse tradespersons that foster pride and lifelong careers in the trades.

What We Do

We strengthen the province’s construction industry through industry stakeholder/community engagement, and set the standard in productivity, quality, and safety. Lending support to training and apprenticeship, Trades NL promotes increased apprentice ratios on projects, as well as being proud leaders in diversity and inclusion, with three Indigenous skilled trades offices throughout the province supporting indigenous advancement in skilled trades.

Who We Are

Together, we represent over 14,000 highly trained trades professionals working across major industrial, commercial, and public infrastructure projects.
