NL Building Trades Contributes $25,000 to Trinity Healthcare Foundation

The Newfoundland Labrador Building Trades Council will contribute $25,000 on behalf of its members to support the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Trinity-Carbonear Healthcare Foundation. Executive Director Darin King joined with building trades members and Don Coombs from the foundation today to make the announcement.

“Our board recognizes the many healthcare demands throughout the province, and saw this as an opportunity to support the local foundation and volunteers in their efforts to provide further healthcare resources for the region.”

This contribution will assist in the purchase of a variety of new equipment for both the Carbonear General Hospital as well as the AA Wilkinson Memorial Hospital Center in Old Perlican.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Building & Construction Trades Council (NLBTC) is an umbrella labour organization which promotes and coordinates the interests of 16 building and construction trades unions, their international affiliates, and more than 15,000 trades workers in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
